Roger Zogolovitch AADipl, RIBA. FRSA is a developer and the creative director of Solidspace building new housing and mixed use projects. All these respond to design and innovation challenges to make excellent buildings on small urban gap sites using the adaption of Solidspace volume DNA. Each project contributes to a series of experimental buildings that are individual and craft based making examples of ‘development as art.’
New housing projects have been completed in London at: Shepherdess Walk in Islington, Centaur Street in Waterloo, Essex Mews in Crystal Palace, Stapleton Hall Road in Stroud Green and the Houseboat on Poole Harbour, Dorset. All made in collaboration with architects Jean Paul Jaccaud and Tanya Zein, dRMM, Matthew Wood, Stephen Taylor and Meredith Bowles, respectively. These all include the Solidspace internal volumes.
He has been a member of the Royal Academy Client Committee since 2005 and is chair of the Royal Academy Project Board for the delivery of Sir David Chipperfield’s masterplan to transform Burlington Gardens and link it to Burlington House. He has chaired the Southwark DRP meetings during 2011 - 2017. He chaired the jury at WAF Singapore in the small projects category in Nov 2015 and 2016. He is the author of a new book Shouldn’t we all be developers published in July 2015. He was appointed Honorary Surveyor by the Royal Academy in 2015.
